One of the most popular orbiters was columbia (ov-102) which was the first space orbiter ever re-used but when it was launched again it was too heavy and didn't have the right equipment necessary for it to work functionally so it ultimately failed in the end. Another orbiter of the past was

A space telescope is a telescope that orbits Earth and gives us a clearer images of the universe. They are used to collect data about the universe and images of the universe. Space telescopes can collect more light than a human eye can and the instruments in it will either work together or work separately to create an image and send the data back to Earth. The telescopes missions is to collect data and images then send it back to earth. One of the past missions is the Hubble space telescope, it has took many pictures and collected a lot of data. Hubble's mission is still going on and taking pictures of the universe.

The lander were sent to Mars attached to a pair of Orbiters, but once they reached the Mars atmosphere, the Viking 1 lander detached and landed on the surface of Mars. Viking 1 previously held the record for most days spent on Mars, it had the record of 2307 days.
