I am thankful for Lucas because even if he does not understand English he still tried to understand and participate when he needed to. Lucas is a great friend!!!!!

I am grateful for Lucas because he is a very hard worker and does his very best to get along with us and understand English. From the day that I met him, I had to try and translate whatever Ms. Walsh said. Sometimes, I feel embarrassed if I don't know how to say it in Chinese. Even if he doesn't fully know English, he will continue to try his best, even if he doesn't go to our school anymore.

I am grateful for Lucas because he's always there for you and basically what a good friend should be like. He is also very funny and a kind person. I know we will all miss Lucas. Also because even though he doesn't known English he still participates in activities using the skills he has, it takes bravery to go to a new school, not know anyone, attempt to learn a new language and gain friends without communicating. And he succeeded in all of those things.

I was thankful for Lucas because there were times that he physically got hurt, but he was always a trooper.

I am so grateful for Lucas because he is a great friend and likes to be funny. Lucas is also such a great dancer and I'm thankful for seeing him show off some fun dances! He also tries to perservere through all of the work we do and he is an AMAZING math matician

I am grateful for Lucas because he always makes me laugh. Lucas always sits at my table in science and when he does, he always has creative ideas and sometimes we are the winning team, but that is the least that matters.

I am thankful for Lucas because he was a hard worker. Although he did not speak English before he left us he even knew how to say puppy, or good morning. Also, he was always really good at math, and though he sometimes was not able to understand story problems, he did his best.
