Liderada por Agostina y un grupo de amigos, la organización trabaja semanalmente para cocinar y distribuir alimentos a más de 1,200 personas en dos lugares clave: el comedor Mamis en Acción, en el barrio Ampliación 20 de Junio, y el vertedero San Javier.

Más que un comedor tradicional, Un Jueves Diferente se destaca por ser un esfuerzo autogestionado y solidario, enfocado en aliviar la pobreza extrema, combatir el desamparo y generar vínculos de confianza y esperanza con las comunidades a las que asiste. Su trabajo va más allá de la alimentación, ofreciendo también apoyo emocional y fortaleciendo el sentido de comunidad en estos entornos.
