         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Goodyear blimp was the official blimp of the Century of Progress. It was originally introduced as a naval ship in the 1930's and was thought to be future transportation. The Goodyear Strip landed on a strip that is now known as Mieg's Airfield.</div>]]></description>

         <title>The First MLB All Star Game-Doug</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Held in conjunction withe the 1933 World's Fair the first MLB All Star Game was held in Comiskey Park. This was initially supposed to be a one time event for the fair but it was popular enough that it became a yearly thing. The All Star Game had players such as Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig who were national superstars at the time and helped propel baseball's popularity.  49,200 people attended the event which was probably helped by the fair.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the Union Pacific Railroad exhibited its first streamlined train, the M-10000, and the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad its famous Zephyr with an average speed of 78 miles an hour it was the fastest train in the world to travel from Chicago to Denver at the time.</div>]]></description>

It measures about 2 5/16” at the widest point. The clip appears to be made of bronze or plated brass with a spring that works well.Can be used to keep papers organized on a deskor hang on the wall, as there is a hold on the back.</div>]]></description>
