It would be great to do a pre-assessment and group them by product, which would also be interest as well. That way, kids would actually want to do a menu or restaurant are together, and kids who wants to design a roller coaster are together, instead of just working with friends.  Sara Beth. :)

For example, some students struggle with fragments and complete sentences, while others start the year with knowledge of the elements of sentences, but struggling with comma use or creating compound sentences.
