I took away many things from this reading assignment. I learned that we moderate the environment and sometimes it turns out good and sometimes it backfires badly. For example, we always try to fix or change the environment for our own purposes and it turns out good, but it sometimes backfires. In the article it told me that in 2005 hurricane Katrina was a reaction of Louisiana trying to tame neighboring states. This is an example of people messing up environmental control.

I understand and can explain the stages of population. Stage 1 is very rare to exist and is almost like a new country having many problems. Stage 2 is a country with decent medical care but is growing rapidly ad many kids are needed. At stage 3 there is a low death and birth rate ad the population continues to grow while their access to medical care gets better. At stage 4, countries are big and women begin to get more jobs. This means families are being made and they're getting access to high quality medical care. At stage 5 is when negative growth happens and the death rate is higher than the birth rate, this doesn't affect the medical care and amount of children needed.

If people feel they're not getting money or tools like everyone is the government will have to listen. Society also changes over time because of laws.
