         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Marta and Ula :)</strong><br><strong>THE CITY </strong><br> Discover magical Krakow, the city of kings, the former capital of Poland. One of the oldest cities in this beautiful country, visited by millions of tourists from around the world every year. Planning a trip to Krakow should not forget about visited places as: Main Squere, Royal Road, Mary's Basilica, Sukiennice, Wawel Castle, Kazimierz, Oskar Schindler's Factory. You will be delighted with the variety of architecture.<br><br><br>The Wawel Dragon <br><br>The Wawel Dragon is a symbol of Cracow. This dragon lived in cave at the foot of Wawel Hill. In the legend, the dragon terrifies local people by destroying their houses and eating young women. A cobbler named Skuba takes up the challenge to kill a dragon. He stuffs a lamb with sulphur for the dragon to eat. Skuba leaves the lamb near the dragon's cave. The dragon eat then and soon after, the dragon's thrist grows and he drinks so much water that he explodes.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>FOOD</strong><br>Kraków – a city filled with historical buildings, legends, and artistic atmosphere. Also you can eat there best polish dishes or snack. <br><br></div><div>Obwarzanek / Bagel</div><div>Obwarzanek’s  become a unoffical symbol of Krakow.  It’s a braided ring-shaped bread on top with salt, poppy seeds, sesame seeds. It’s the only Polish food that is protected by Europian Union and is listed on their Traditional Foods List. <br><br>Pierogi / Dumplings</div><div>One of the most recognizable food in Polish - pierogi.  They can be filled everything,  from fruit to boiled potatoes, cottage cheese, meet and mushrooms. Pierogi is Polish food always served during Christmas.<br><br>Zapiekanka/ Toastie<br>Classic zapiekanka is just a halved baguette with mushrooms and cheese, on top with ketchup or fried onion. It’s super simple and super delicious and also cheap. If you spend time in Kraków you should check out one of the vendors at Plac Nowy‘s (Nowy square) Okrąglak (The Roundhouse). I think it’s the best place to taste this student’s treat 👌<br><br>Pączki/ Doughnuts <br>The best doughnuts are served in Old Doughnuts Shop. It’s a famous baker which always use traditional recipe. You can eat there hot doughnuts filled rose jam or choose different filling. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>FESTIVALS </strong><br>In Cracow there are many different festivals, everyone can find something for themselves. One of the most popular festivals in Cracow is Kraków Live Festival. That is music festival that takes place every summer near Airline Museum. We can hear there many different types of music from pop through rock to rap and hip hop. Another interesting event is The Great Outdoor Light and Sound Show on the Vistula. It combines pyrotechnic effects, music, light and water curtains. During the show, large, floating and flying dragons (up to 25 m long and 15 m high) will appear, amazing creatures placed on barges and ships are animated by actors of the Groteska Theater. This year dragons, whose designs were inspired by tradition and culture from four parts of the world, will take part in the Show. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>THE UNIVERSITY</strong><br>The Cracow has 9 types of University:<br>The Pedagogical University <br>The Jagiellonian University<br>The University of Science and Technology<br><br>The University of Agriculture<br>The UEK<br>The Ignatianum Academy<br>The Pontifical University of John Paul II in Cracow<br>The Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Cracow University. <br><br>Our university is The University of Psychology and it was built in 1946.  Now we have 5 institutes. <br>You can study here:<br>- polish filology<br>-roman filology<br>-german filology<br>- maths<br>- geography<br>- law<br>- history<br>- history of art<br>- sociology<br>- psychology<br>- economy<br>- biology<br><br>We have more organisations for students - for example The Students Government or The Independent Associacion of Students. We are the best polish psychology university in the Poland. <br><br>The next most famous university is The Jagiellonian University of Cracow. It's the older university in our country and also in the whole world. The Jagiellonian University of Cracow was built in 1364 year. It have more than 40,000 students right now. There are numerous restaurants, museums, bars and clubs which will keep you coming back for more. <br>The downtown area od full od attractions but we introduce the best free things to do.<br>1) Kopiec Kraka - it is a mound and there you can see the views of the city <br>2) Wisła boulevard - it is a perfect place for relaxing walks. You can enjoy the atmosphere by riding a bike, reading a book or jogging<br>3) Museums - there are many museums in Kraków which offer free admission for example Rynek Underground Museum, The Archaeology Museum and one of the most famous museums in Kraków Wawel Hill and Castle<br>4) The Main Square - it is a place where you can see the talented artists who perform for pedestrians <br><br>Kinga and Magdalena </div>]]></description>
