Using plastic bags can kill and damage the environment and the things within. This meaning plastic bags can kill animals and also the it damages the environment as they takes years to disintegrate. Recently, the welsh government has brought in a scheme to charge people 5p for a plastic bag. By doing this, people are likely not to buy bags as much as people do not not like to pay.
