There were many attacks, but some of the most damaging ones were when many Britsih Forces moved to Washington DC. This happened on August 24, 1814, and they burned many government buildings like the Capitol and the White House. Other attacks included the Battle of Platssburgh, which was in New York. Finally, on December 24, 1814, we signed the Treaty of Ghent, which was to be ratified in February. Then on January 8, 1815, the Briutsiugh Forces were unaware, and they mounted a huge attack which is called The Battle of New Orleans, then to meet future president Andrew Jackson's army, and then the war ended.
