Onboarding Process

We offer onboarding support for our centres for the first 12 months of delivery.

We will proactively contact you at 3 separate points:

On-boarding
At the midpoint to check on delivery
Towards the end of the first 12 months as you prepare for assessments

Online Past and Sample Papers

Please ensure learners have passed a timed mock assessment before learners sit their live assessments.

Free Schemes of Work

In the Teaching material section we have Schemes of Work for every Functional Skills level in English and Maths. These are available for use by centres and contain a coherent teaching order. These can be used alongside Internal Assessment Systems to inform the order of teaching within the individual skills plans. In addition, these may be helpful when integrating Maths and English within a vocational setting.

Learner Workbooks at L1 and L2

The workbooks have been developed independently from the classroom packs and are broken down by each subject content statement. For each statement there is a comprehensive explanation of subject content statement with tips, quick checks and questions and solutions to help learners comprehend.

Each chapter ends with questions to test understanding.
We have also combined the answers in this workbook.
Everything in the workbook is brand new compared to the classroom packs as they were not developed by the same developer and purposely kept apart. Any overlap is purely coincidental.

The workbooks are a fantastic resource for roll on roll off delivery when learners may have different starting points and different levels within the same teaching session.

These are from past papers that are no longer available on our website, so there using them throughout delivery still leaves you with past papers to use as timed mocks that your learners will not have seen.
