Producers are living things that make their own food. Producers are usually plants. Plants take energy from the sun to make food with water and carbon dioxide. This process is called Photosynthesis. Consumers can't make their own food, so they hunt for food. Consumers consist of carnivores (meat eaters) and herbivore (plant eaters). Decomposers get their food by breaking down the nutrients from dead animal remains or animal waste. In doing this, they carry on am life process called decomposition. They consist of a soil bacterium, fungus, invertebrate.

The process of photosynthesis and what it creates.
