The marvel of technology-driven cinematic storytelling and use of extensive and exceptional CGI resulted in its box office smash. This includes; being exhibited on a greater range of formats due to advanced technology such as 2D, 3D, 4D and Imax. This garners mass amounts of audiences due to the wider use of formats and is easily accessible on a number of platforms available. Other examples of film exhibition includes; the ancillary market, which consists of DVD's, streaming services, free view, PayTv and Blu-ray etc (this of which is basically another form of profit for the distributor outside the cinema/ theatrical release or exhibition of the film). However, there have been issues with modern technology which resulted in the loss of potential revenue made by the distributor.
