I hope everyone has stayed safe and healthy during these difficult times. Please remember when sending your child to school if you are choosing to do so, to always be doing the symptom checker and to keep your child at home with any kind of symptom for everyone’s safety. I will be tackling on this new year differently than the previous year as there is a system, I want to put into effect as soon as possible. So many exciting things that will be happening and the staff is on board such as a new circle theme, new projects, new learning opportunities during circle time and much more. Please take a look on the schedule section of padlet for our schedule for our schedule via in person instruction. I understand right now with Covid-19, things seem unsafe, but rest assure I am doing my best with my staff to make sure that in person instruction is as safe as possible. If you would like to continue with distance learning you are allowed that privilege and I totally understand. Here is how online distance learning will be working:

· 9:00am to 9:30am would be online circle time via zoom.

· A 5 minute break will be given from 9:30am-9:35am.

· From 9:35am-10:00am there will be a whole group lesson for students on distance learning ran by a staff member (there will be staff rotation daily) that will have the required worksheets or links uploaded on padlet for the required day. If you do NOT have a printer, every Friday will be a pick up day at Lincoln Elementary School, so students have all required materials for online instruction.

· At 10:30am-11:00am there will be another online session. However, this will be broken into group sections. For Example. Monday would be those in Group A. Tuesday Group B. Thursday Group C. and the rotation will continue.

· Wednesdays will still be all online distance learning from 8:30am-10:00am. With each individual Group working with an assigned staff.

This is just how I am going to try it out very soon as next week we will begin prepping everything to begin this new rotation of online learning. Please contact me with any questions you may have thank you and here is to a safe new year. 
