2.    Description of the participant
20 (7 males, 13 females), age 20-40, Advanced English proficiency, have been living in Australia for more than 9 months. The participants are Indonesian, Japanese, Vietnamese, Australian, Chilean, and Chinese. 
 
3.    Methods for collecting data

Sample question: 
In scale 1-5 how willing are you to contribute in a classroom discussion?
In scale 1-5 how willing are you to talk to the students from the same country as you are?
In scale 1-5 how willing are you to talk to the students from different countries?
§  Random interview (each from different country) to clarify or confirm the result of the questionnaire.

5.    Expected outcomes
There will be different patterns among the participant interactions with specific reasons for these occurrences. 
The finding will help teachers to create a better classroom discourse to promote learning.
