What Was The Most Common Tactics Used In WW1?

During WW1 many different tactics were used but some more than others. Poison gas was very common because it took out lots of enemy soldiers at once. The trenches were the most common because it wasn't very hard to build and it was protective to foot soldiers and semi protective against artillery and biplanes. The other tactic is sniping. Many snipers killed hundreds of people each and they hid easily among rocks and long grass. In enemy camps all the troops looked for snipers as they were the most dangerous but, they were also the first to lose their lives because they were targeted by the enemies

While fighting the British and their alliances only wore a plastic helmet and a thin wool cover for camouflage along with a wool cloth tunic and pants and socks. The boots are made from leather and metal studs on the bottom. If you fought in the trenches you wore a flimsy wool hat so you could fold it if didn't need it.
