It was the morning of the fist day of high school and my mom woke me up. At that moment I knew that my nights of solid sleep were at an end. I was reluctant at first but I knew I had to become a Knight.

As the school year moved forward I was faced with many challenges and temptations. Challenges consisted of late nights of work, studding and sheer exhaustion. Some temptations were skipping homework or postponing projects in order to hang out with friends

As more time passed I became less and less scared and began to become more comfortable with my high school surroundings. I began to realize the importance of hard work where minimal work could have gotten me places in middle school.

As I pass through the cross walk, I see 4-5 sets of doors and as I open one and step in, I have crossed a threshold into a new beginning of a quest of reaching my life goals
