I believe that one has to start your day early before everyone else, this keeps you to prepare ahead and be mentally prepared for the day, in my case i would walk, go to the gym, and mentally prepare myself for the day and be at peace throughout the day as i have well prepared all round.

This i had to do, COVID gave me that wake up call that i needed to make. The fitness industry took a big hit when this pandemic happened. I realized this as i have 3 beautiful daughters i have to secure their future and being in the fitness industry would not cut it at all, so i decided to make that decision for my family, for my daughters. Togi it was and is!

During my Teaching Practice Practical, i had the honor with teaching and observing these beautiful and talented children filled with so much energy and life. giving me a fore taste what my future as an Educator would be like. They have taught me so much. Learning from them has opened up so much in my mind of what is to come in the future and most importantly how they as children think other than to that of an adult.

OMG Moments

What an experience when i had to do my first lesson in class. I was super nerves as i have come to learn that kids so smart and that what ever i would teach then they would question and i know for a fact that i would be challenged by what i tell them, there was definitely that one or two kids that would ask, "Ma'am what but isn't it like this or like that". The aim was to captivate the students into engagement not only them but my Mentor Teacher as well. So yes! what a OMG experience for me.

Emotional Memories( Teaching Practice Practical)

This right here had me! The students got together and left this for me on my desk when i went and made copies of their worksheets, got me so emotional and the leaving and not seeing them the following week. I got attached for sure, i suppose this is something that i have to learn from as i would be at plenty schools and would know how to hold my emotions in take and know that goodbye isn't really goodbye but see you later. Learning that the students get attached too and that has taught me to really be tactful when it comes to their mental and emotional state when it comes to see you later.

What an experience teaching this lesson, my first NST lesson. When i was in grade 4 i loved natural science, going to high school i dropped this subject as i was very fearful of it as so much talk around this subject and Mathematics. I didnt give it a chance, so when i started my studies at Togi i told my self that these two subjects will be what Electives subjects and i am loving it with all of me.
