Stars are born in huge clouds of dust called nebulae. Gravity attracts more of the dust together. The dust then becomes so heavy and hot that it turns into a Protostar. When more dust and heat gets to the center of the Protostar, nucleus fusion will begin and the star is then born to the universe.
