My Self Evaluation for the 2nd Term:

For the second term, I believe I coped adequately with the complexity of the subjects. However, similar to the first term, I am sure there was room for improvement.

Specific: I managed to fulfill most of these objectives, particularly goal #3, as I consistently maintained note-taking during every math session. Regarding goal #1, there remains scope for enhancing my time management skills for studying, completing homework, and ensuring sufficient rest. As for goal #2, based on my assessment of all graded assignments and tests, I anticipate achieving at least a B for the second term.

Measurable: At the term's end, I utilized the provided materials specifying the weightage of each task and quiz. I meticulously recorded all my scores to calculate my class standing using a Google Sheet.

Achievable: I diligently compiled extensive notes, examples, and homework, utilizing them as a comprehensive review for upcoming tests.

Relevant: Throughout the second term, I adhered to these SMART goals. However, I feel somewhat content with my class standing, considering that it falls short compared to some of my peers'.

Time-Bound: By the conclusion of the second term, I successfully met, more or less, the objectives outlined.

When collaborating with others, I primarily worked on my homework and/or reviewed lessons and topics with Nouie Sanvictores to better prepare for upcoming math sessions. This collaboration proves immensely beneficial as I have the opportunity to discuss the subject matter with someone who has a deeper understanding than myself, enabling me to ask questions and clarify any uncertainties. Therefore, much of my comprehension is owed to Nouie.

Among my works in Math so far, I consider my most noteworthy achievements to be Quizzes 3, 4, and 5. These quizzes went into the concepts of Chords and Arcs, Arcs and Angles, and Equation of a Circle, respectively. Who really helped with this was my tutor, whose support enabled me to thoroughly review each test and grasp the underlying concepts. Through this, I was able to demonstrate my understanding of these topics, resulting in what I think to be my best work.

Containing one of the more difficult topics for me, Long Test 2 is one of my only failed assessments in Math this term. With an HPS of 22, we only had 5 points of mistakes until we failed, so I think it wasn't hard to fail this test.

In the test, one of my misunderstandings was on page 1. In part 2, Application, item 1, I was confused with what the item was asking from me since it didn't specify how I should list all the possible outcomes. Because I would rather visualize this list, I wrote all the possible outcomes using the tree method. And with the misunderstanding, I wasted one point which could've slightly raised my grade. So, from this experience, I learned now that I should ask questions instead of staying unsure about an item in a test because it could cost me a point or two.

During this term, I encountered a misconception while working on Quiz 2, which focused on Probability. Specifically, in item 2, under letter b, I mistakenly used multiplication instead of addition. It became apparent to me that when the question used the term "or," it signified the necessity of adding the two probabilities together rather than multiplying them. This realization served as a valuable learning moment, helping me to correct my understanding of probability concepts.
