They changed it from taking a big card with a number on it to a smaller card with a bar code that you have to scan before you take a seat. A positive of this is that the staff don't have to muck around with numbered cards and can just look at their computer. I think something that doesn't work well is the way its presented to people or lack of it, it always seems its up to someone that's waiting telling the next person what to do. A possible flaw would be that someone scans a card then decides they don't want to wait and they just leave without saying anything.
