in my case, I'm neutral since Im in favor of both opinions.
+ it has to do with the patient's will and hes/her freedom to choose when to die with DIGNITY and stop with their suffering.
- BUT alternative methods are available so there isn't a need to kill the patient. Also this restricts doctor's autonomy who are meant to save lives, and not to end up with some ones.

Shouldn't patients have the right to die with dignity? I agree with euthanasia because I think the debate is about the right to help patients die with dignity if they wish to do so.

My name is Cecilia Alonso, and after reading the material related to "Adoption and same-sex couples", I can give my personal opinion. This is a controversial topic by at first and as the most relevant for me, is that governments should not discriminate. Because if a couple or even a single person has the physical, mental and economic capability to look after a child should be allowed to do it. I agree with the idea that LGBT must be married. But I also agree that there are many desafortunate cases in which one of the parents dies and the other is left in charge of the children without neglected them.
Nowadays there are a lot of divorces, even in heterosexual couples. So to be married should be not compulsory for anybody.
As regards private individuals and organizations, I think they have the right not to be forced to take actions that co flict with their religious beliefs.
To sum up this topic, I think that the priority is to ensure the well-being of children under the government control but bearing in mind and especting the individual ideas.

Pros and cons of abortion.

Abortion is an actual issue. Women all around the world are fighting together to get the right to decide about their own bodies.
As cons of this procedure we can say that it can lead women to a serios health complications, in some cases, tbe worst case scenario can be death. It can result in greater stress and depression. Even having an abortion done always carry the risk of not being able to become pregnant ever again in life.
As pros, we can say that in some cases, medical emergencies compele a woman resort to this action. It is also applied when some of the rape victims wouldn't be mentally or physically prepared to raise a child. When women have no family support and finance in hand, they only find this way.
As a final conlusion I can say that each case is different and the contexts are not the same for all women. If a women decided to have an abortion i stead of the extreme consecuences, I think it must be respected.

I agree with homosexual adoption because I think they can be great parents. Besides gay and heterosexual couples deserve the same legal rights to adopt. Many gay couples form relationships that are more stable than many heterosexual marriages giving adopted children a secure, emotionally stable home. Apart from kids need families and gay adoption can provide kids the loving homes they need. That’s good for children, good for couples wanting to raise a child and good for society.

• Everyone has a right to decide when their life should end.

• It is beneficial to give an easy death to person by their own will.

• It provides a way to relieve an extreme pain.

• It puts the mind of family of the patient at ease as the patient will be no longer in pain and died peacefully.
CONS:
· It is murdering another human which cannot be rationalized under any circumstances.

• Palliative care and Rehabilitation centers are better option to help disabled patients.

• Family members influencing the patients's decision into euthanasia can be for personal gains for wealth insurance and property.

• Doctors cannot predict firmly of death of a person and whether there is a possibility of recovery with other advanced treatments.

I believe that abortion is a sensitive issue to deal with. Although thinking about the death of an innocent is not pleasant, I must say that it is a subject that goes beyond that.

I am in favor of abortion only for these reasons

*When a mother has an unwanted baby, there is a more likely chance of an unhealthy relationship and that will be detrimental to the life of the child and the mother.

*At the end of the day, a mother has to go through the actual labor pain and other issues involved with parenting and juggling responsibilities. Others can’t precisely gauge or understand the level of trauma that a woman may be experiencing in her personal life. She is the only person who knows best, if she would be able to take care of the unplanned child or not. We all know that it’s merely impossible to raise a child without family support and finance in hand. To a great extent, the life of the baby depends upon the mother’s health.

*Although most people think children can be put up for adoption, we all know what complicated is to adopt in this country. Some children spend their childhoods from house to house which are temporary homes. They even end up dying alone in the streets

That is why I believe that an unwanted child ends up suffering in the same way in life. No child deserves unhappiness.

We wouldn't even have to think about abortion. The ideal is that we are all more responsible with our bodies and their consequences.

-If a terminal pacient faces a long, slow, painful death, it is better allow them to end their life comfortably. They should have the right to avoid this kind of torturous existence and be allowed to die in a humane way.

Safety: Criminals who receive the death penalty are typically violent individuals. Therefore for the safety of the prison’s guards, other prisoners, and the general public, then logic dictates that safety is a reason for capital punishment.

I agree with this because I consider that there are criminal who have commited horrendous crimes, they are a danger to anyone arround them and in my opinion people who are capable of killing other people in such ways won´t change anymore.

I'm in favour of Gay People Adoption, because I believe that in recent times family models have been changing, we can see many children who grow up with their grandparents or with their mother or father only. In the same way we know that there are many children who need a home.
I think that adoption should be a discussion centered in which the children have a home that contains them and gives them love and everything that children need at this important stage.
We should put our eyes on the well-being of the children and not on who can adopt or not, since family is family doesn't matter how it is constituted.

Surprising reality:
Abortion caused due to rape and other health complications account to nearly 7%, while the remaining cases of abortion are primarily a result of personal and social issues.
This topic generates differents ethical approaches. Some of them that I consider important are:

By terminating a life, can we justify our acts?
What's so bad about adoption? Choosing adoption as an alternative to abortion would give the baby its right to life.
Abortion can turn out to be a lifetime worth of burden.

If death is in the best interests of some Terminal patients, if the withdrawal of life sustaining treatment can be said to be of benefit in this case, then death constitutes a moral good for these patients. And if this is so, why is it wrong to intend to bring about this moral good? I agree with this argument. What do you think?

Did you know that..?
The word euthanasia comes from 2 Greek words, 'Eu' meaning 'good' and 'thanatos' meaning 'death', put together it means 'good death'. Euthanasia is defined as the hastening of death of a patient to prevent further sufferings.
But for describing euthanasia the Germans use the term Sterbehilfe which means “help to die"”, so while the person and society may be complicit in “killing a person”, they are accessories and not the actual agents of the killing.

It is important to realize that:

When you're approaching the last stage of your life, you have a right to high quality, personalised end of life care that helps you live as well as possible until you die.

I am against death penalty because:

-The life of the criminal cannot compensate for the crime committed. Basically, two wrongs do not make a right.
-Some people executed were proven too late to be wrongly convicted of a crime that they did not commit.
-Criminals have less time and likelihood to seek forgiveness for their crimes if they are executed.
-Executing someone decreases the time and likelihood for the criminal to repair any damage from the crime.
