But some students just really don't care. But if you make the information given to them more interesting and more interactive, students will definitely be interested and they will definitely learn and take it in because you are portraying this information in a way that it's fun and it's not boring because sometimes when we hear sustainability it's just a turn off. So if students will react in a good way, if you teach them about building a sustainable future in a way that they will actually pay attention and get interested in. If you put them in a real life simulation, or if you bring them to make them actually see and open their eyes, then yes, students will take it in positively. But if some of them take it in reluctantly then they will realize the consequences they have.

So this is how some of the students will take it in. 

Another thing is I think another challenge is the students, their attitudes and their beliefs. Most of us don't really have a sense of ownership to the world yet and to the environment. So we don't really notice the impact right now.

And it really depends if you want to talk about sustainable practices. Some of us don't even really care much about the environment, so it's a very iffy thing. Some of them, again, will be very optimistic about it and they will actually try to make an impact and change.

So when it comes to teaching about sustainable practices, it really depends on the receiving end also. When you give all your hard work and everything, if the receiving end doesn't even receive it, then it kind of makes their efforts can go to waste. So you really need to change their attitudes and beliefs into believing that a sustainable future and sustainable practices are the way to go in the future.

So there isn't really a unique way for them to show because we have so little companies promoting sustainability, which makes students  doesn't give the students an opportunity to see what sustainability really means. So the companies and the partnerships that we have in Singapore are very limited to teach about sustainable practices. If you want to go beyond the traditional teaching resources like videos and slideshows, if you want to go into more like field trips and work experiences, it's very limited the partnerships and the companies.

So I think that's a challenge that we need to face when teaching about sustainable practices is that we need to find more links and more relationships and partnerships to sustainable companies to actually teach the students about sustainable practices because only they know more because they're the ones that are practicing it also.
