I want to start out by teaching Spanish; I would then like to transition to Economics. My ideal teaching career would be to teach both subjects at the same time. Is this possible? I sure hope so!

I am taking EDSC 320 because it is a requirement, of course, but I am also looking forward to semester of work for this class because I know that it will expose me to a lot of the issues and factors of adolescence. I was a teen not too long ago, but I know that there are things that as teens ones misses or fails to looks at and acknowledge. My goal for this course is to learn as much as I can about adolescents and the way they, think, act, and function. I want to be able to provide my students with the best learning experience, and that starts by getting to know them and how they can learn best (by using their strengths and their weaknesses to form the class).

I always knew I loved teaching, but I lost track and focus. I have returned after a one semester sabbatical. I am excited about following my passion for teaching. It all began when I had the opportunity to teach in my church's Sunday school. I accompanied my pastors and an amazing group of youth to work with children in one of our churches out there. We visited about 8 sister churches in the course of 9 days.
