         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hello everyone, I'm <strong><em><mark>Rulyn P. De Guzman</mark></em></strong>, Math Teacher from Dagupan City National High School. This is a picture of me assembling lego trying to build a robot snake. Quadratic Equations is being applied here since I was able to identify each parts of lego and make decisions of where to put each of them considering each function and size. Just like in Quadratic Equations, we put each terms of the equation to its correct side to make the equation balanced.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Im <strong>Hench Anne S Operiano</strong> from <strong>gr 9  section 21 (malued #2) </strong>under the advisory of Mrs Lesly De Guzman . What is Quadratic Equations? A QUADRATIC EQUATION is any equation that can be rearranged in standard form which is ax^2  + bx + c = 0  as x represents an uknown while a, b, and c, represents known numbers. For me a quadratic equation could be related to machine parts.  What are machine parts?  Machine parts are mechanical parts and features used as building blocks of most machines.  It could be related to Quadratic Equations cause a quadratic equation has a, b, and c, in a form of a formula while machine parts  can  also have a, b,  and c but it is the difference parts of machines (like in quadratic equation we have a, b, and c but in machine parts a, b c, represents different parts of machines). In the quadratic equation x represents unknown while in the machine parts the x represents the unkown body where machine parts would be placed. Last but not the least in quadratic equation a, b, and c, can be arranged into the standard form while in machine parts, machine parts can be rearranged into what specific category they should be placed to in accordance to its uses. </div>]]></description>

Quadratic Equation is being applied here because the different medicines in each squares symbolizes the terms. The medicines symbolizes the terms becuase they are not the same but they're according to what illness you have. The medicines have the same function because they can help you cure from illness but they have different uses. Just like in Quadratic Equation, the terms are different from each other but they have the same function, to solve an equation. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Gud day everyone, I'm Charles Oswald P. Salazar, Grade 9-10. <br>This is a picture of me arranging the items in the chess game. Quadratic equation is being applied here since I was able to arrange first each item in their proper places before starting the game. You should also learn first their proper ways of moving and have your own techniques to attain victory. Just like in quadratic equations we arrange first the terms of equation to standard form to identify their values (a, b and c) and from there I can proceed to solve the given problems.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hi I'm Daniel G Macaltao,from section 9-22 Pantal.<br>Quadratic equations not only described the orbits along which the planets moved round the Sun, but also gave a way to observe them more closely. The key to further advances in astronomy was the invention of the telescope. Using a telescope Galileo was able to observe the moons of Jupiter and the phases of Venus, both of which gave support to the Copernican theories. Later on, great reflecting telescopes were used to probe the mysteries of the Universe. In recent years, giant radio telescopes have been used both to listen for aliens and to send messages which a potential alien might pick up. Galileo's telescope used lenses, the shape of which was formed by two intersecting hyperbolae. The reflecting telescope, invented by Newton (see later) has a mirror for which each cross section takes the shape of a parabola! The same parabolic shape works just as well for the bowl of a giant radio telescope, a shaving mirror and a satellite TV dish.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Good Day Everyone, I'm Jillian Gaspar from Grade 9-10.<br>Quadratic functions can be used to help solve many different real world problems.This is a picture of me practicing drive my family car. Quadratic Equation is applied here since I was able to identify each part on how to control and maintain proper driving. The drag on an automobile caused by air resistance (friction) increases quadratically with speed in miles per hour (mi./h). The number of horsepower (a unit of power energy divided by time) needed to overcome that drag is for a certain make and model of car.<br><br>At the heart of this is an understanding of the idea of acceleration and the role that quadratic equations play in it.If an object is moving in one direction without a force acting on it,then it continues to move in that directions with a constant velocity. We can call this velocity (v). Now if the particle starts at the point x=0 and moves in this way for a time (t), then its resulting position is given by x= vt. Usually the particle has a force acting on it, such as gravity for rugby ball or friction in the brakes of a car.<br><br>A very important application is to find the stopping distance of a car travelling at a given velocity (v). The simple quadratic formula relating time to distance is also the basis of the science of ballistics, which looks at the way that objects move under gravity.<br><br>Therefore we maintain the car for travelling safe by checking the brakes,gas,tire or all about the car. These defensive driving skills can help you avoid the dangers caused by other because you can't control the actions of other drivers. Also it is essential, so always leave yourself an out. For example, if you have only 4 square feet of wood to use for the bottom of the box, with this information, you can create an equation for the area of the box using the ratio of the two sides. This means the area -- the length times the width -- in terms of x would equal x times 2x, or 2x^2. Just like in playing a guitar the first thing to do is to determine if the strings are on the right tune . Because it'll not sound good if it is out of tune. Also in Quadratic Equation it has different kinds of term just like in playing a song in a guitar, you should first know the chords of the song that you'll be playing like example, the song "Leaving on a Jet plane" by John Denver that has 3 chords "G, C, D". The 3 chords of the song can be compared to the quadratic equations, cause it has different sound depends on the chord that you play and in Quadratic Equation the terms are different to each other and it has also different use.</div>]]></description>
