1) I liked how the film started at the climax and then showed background and ends going back to the first scene.
2) I was wondering why the teacher wasn't wearing a mask, when all the students were, was it symbolic or unintentional?
3) The scene when it shows a poster saying that "this is what beauty looks like" is significant to me because of how relevant that is to daily life and the beauty standards society puts out.
4) I was thinking about how the different cliques wear the same masks and how that is true to many people and how most times we gravitate towards people with the same "masks" as us.
5) I was wondering what the impact she made on the other students, when she took off her mask. Do they eventually do the same or stay comfortable behind a mask?

For example, the use of the shadows and how it was difficult for the man to adjust.
- The ending of the video genuinely made me question how I would react if someone told me that everything I believe is wrong and tried to convince me otherwise.
- By including Socrates death, helped me realize how warped the world can be, killing someone based on their views and or race.
- I wonder all the time about things like colors and the names of objects, we know their names based on what someone said they are? But what if there is more to it or that isn't what it really is?
- In the video, when it says "the theory illustrates the problem of grouping concrete things under abstract terms" I think there is some real truth and depth to that statement.

Wow
- I really like the animation it gave viewers great virtualization.
- This video has a connection to the first video. Sometimes everything we know is just a smidge of truth and reality.
- This video for me explains why the teacher in the first video does were a mask. Teenagers like us live in a world that is controlled and structure through school and social media. But once we graduate and continue through life we will find a completely new world that exists a pond-us.

Wonder
- How does the philosopher manage to take care of the 3 prisoners from a kid to a full-grown adult?

-If the other two prisoners were forced out of the cave, how would they react? Would they come to learn the truth like the other or still deny the facts because they go against everything they know?
-It really isn't the other prisoners' fault that they don't believe the first prisoner. Everything he said went against what they've known their entire lives. Is our ignorance always our fault?
-If the first prisoner had reacted differently, I wonder how it would impact the other prisoners' thoughts on the outside world. The first prisoner's experience can really influence the others' opinions.
-What if the prisoner had just left out that part about not being able to see the shadows? Would the others react differently to the other knowledge he gave them?
-How would the first prisoner react to going outside if he had been completely alone? Would he still cling to what he knew about the shadows? He only learned the truth because other people had told him.

It could be interpreted as many things. One may say that society is a lie, that our creations of math and science are attempts to discern something that is not real like the shadows, and we have to expunge our ignorance by removing our chains and stepping into the light of reality.

Another interpretation could be theological. The one that escapes the chains and reaches the light could be reaching God and learning of the right path seeing that ignorance and sin is a shallow way to live. It is now incumbent on the one who has seen the light to tell the sinners there is a better way to live.

It can also be interpreted as freeing oneself from a form of authoritarian government where the public masses are incognizant of the what is being hidden from them. Many countries especially communist countries hold their people in chains and the people do not know of the evil. When one does realize the corruption will they be able to show the others the truth.

Why wouldn't the prisoners wanted to have escaped even if they didn't believe the one that was freed?
Was the truth more crazy to the prisoners because they had believed they were the ones to come across the concept that it doesn't exist outside of where they are?
I agree that ignorance has caused a lot of problems in society and that the idea we are too stubborn and ignorant to self rule is mostly true.
