 state was the best place to learn of this historical event  This probably helped to make civilians love their home just like representative democracy makes them feel like they have somewhat power over what happens.  Every citizen could vote on every issue. Representative democracy is a type of government where people choose representatives to make laws for them. Power to the people. democracy developed in 500 BCE and is still happening to this day. connection to ancient Greece.
