We have also used legos, made inventions to help solve problems, and created playgrounds for people with disabilities.
6th grade science has built circuits, ozobots mazes and makeymakey boards. We also use the materials for various STEM projects. *Once per month Makerspace initiatives, needs to be longer than 35 mins/specials' time.  Maybe each class becomes an expert on a tool.  Possibly Apple TV to share videos at Converse and Sweetser but can be shared at other building by projecting.
