There are many differences between debit cards and credit cards one is that debit cards are linked to your bank account so the money you spend is automatically deducted from your account. Another fact about debit cards is that your bank balance goes down with each debit card transaction, so you’re less likely to overspend.

Federal laws protect you when you use a Credit card , the same cannot be said for debit cards. There is nothing supporting you when you use a debit card because it is your money not someone else's. If you are not happy with a purchase using a Credit card when you return the item there is nothing held against you.

I think that it is overall better to just pay with cash because you will have nothing to wory about and there are less fee's. I also think that you do need to have both at some point. I think you need a credit card for when you buy a house or a car or just anytime you need good credit. I think you need a debit card for purchases online and for things that are not that big.

There are again, several differences between Credit and debit cards. One fact about Credit cards is that some offer rewards that you can use to get gifts, cash back or discounts for products, services and special events. Another fact is that federal law also protects you if you need to dispute charges on a credit card, but not if you use a debit card or other forms of payment.
