- Brasil. Is the country in the world in which the most murders of transgender people were registered in 2018, according to Trans Murder Monitoring: 167 murders of the 369 documented worldwide by this organization. According to another Brazilian LGBTI organization, murders have been increasing: if in 2008 there were 58, in 2016 they already amounted to 144. Homophone speech is not a crime at the federal level, something that has been used by ultra-conservative politicians and preachers to attack the LGTBI community.
- Uganda. Last December, the United Nations officials of the Kakuma refugee camp (Kenya) had to transfer several LGTBI refugees after being attacked by the local population and by other refugees while protesting against attacks received in recent months. There were 20 injured and some LGTBI protesters' shelters were burned.
- México. Is the second country in the world - after Brazil - in which more transgender people were murdered in 2017 and 2018 - with 71 murders in the last year. Most were crimes of transphobia.
-Honduras. The case of Roxana Hernández, a Honduran transsexual who died while in detention by the US immigration authorities, brought the spotlight on LGTBI people - mainly transsexual women - who flee Central American countries to escape violence and stigma. Since 2017, several groups of migrant transsexuals have tried to make visible with demonstrations at the border the security problems they face in their countries. In the case of Honduras, in recent years, attacks against LGTBI people have increased, specifically, against activists who fight for the rights of this community. Last November, for example, the murder of activist Jonathan Cruz, who was unable to enjoy the asylum he had been granted in Costa Rica, was confirmed. According to the Honduran NGO Red Lésbica Cattrachas, in its most recent report: between 2004 and 2017 there were 277 murders of members of the LGTBI community in the country, one out of every 3 crimes was committed against transsexual women.

There they locked her up, dressed her as a boy and offered her as gay to people who came in search of beer and sex. The police carried out an operation and helped her. They left her in a men's shelter because of her clothes. Her dad had to go get her out. They went to look for the owner of the bar so that she would pay her the salary, but she did not wanted to. In the police's report, there is an intervention to the premises for "contested acts against morals", but there is no judicial cause that identifies Sharon as a victim. Sharon's mother lets herself be photographed with her; she hugs her in and out of shots of her, asks if she had enough dinner. The second time he trafficked her, he took her daughter. An adult trans, popular in the neighborhood, promised that Sharon would be her assistant in a beauty salon in Argentina, so they went to the city of La Plata. There her body already had a price: a year and a half in street prostitution to pay for her transfer. She knew she had to help him because one day Avery's father called and told her: "Just so you know, this morning, Colton said 'my life didn't turn out as planned. I think he should stab myself in the throat". This is were she started helping her son and teaching him how to a girl. After a week of these lessons, Avery told her: "Mom. Thank you so much for teaching me about transgender. It really made me feel like I'm not alone". This is were she presented her new daughter, Avery, in social medias. I think this mother was right, his son didn't feel comfortable in the body he was in, so she helped him, also because his life was in danger.
