Ellery can't figure out why a cute, popular boy would want to save such a worthless life, but soon finds out that Colter has reasons to fight for her life.

This was a book that I read just for fun and it was something that I could not out down and ended up reading the whole thing in a day. That are so many raw emotions throughout the book. I felt like I was there with Ellery the whole time.

Bully by Laura Vaccaro Seeger

Bully never has anything thing nice to say to others. He calls them names, and tells them to leave him alone in hurtful ways. When he is called a bully to his face he realizes how mean he has been and apologizes to others.

This book is a great way to bring bullying into the eyes of young children such as kindergartners (which is who I hope to teach). By showing them that bullying can not only hurt others but themselves as well hopefully they will not want to participate in bullying.

Throughout the book the illustrations show a boy reading a book about the trees, and every time he reads a fact about the tree the things around him match the fact. This book shows an imaginative way to state facts about something that could potentially ore children.
