The Most Dangerous Game

4/3/17
Based on the previous three chapters, I can infer than Rainsford is going to escape into the ocean, but won't be able to swim for long and will probably only make it to another side of the island. I believe that Rainsford will hide out on the other side of the island, and will last until the third day. Then, he will return to Zaroff to claim his prize, but I do not believe that Zaroff will give it to him. I believe that Zaroff will want to keep him around to continue to play the game because of what a great opponenet he was. Also, Zaroff would need another right hand man because of the loss of Ivan, so perhaps Zaroff will keep Rainsford around to replace Ivan.
