To practice long-term planning, I will begin by creating educational units that span several weeks.

Accepting Mentorship: By facilitating peer discussions and sharing my teaching experiences, I intend to assume small mentoring roles.

Shared Theoretical Foundations:

Ms. Maryam and I both think that active participation is the best way for children to learn. We encourage inquiry and problem-solving as part of our support for student-centered learning. This is consistent with Vygotsky's Social Constructivism, which emphasizes the value of guided discovery and social interaction in the learning process.

Different Theoretical Views:

Ms. Maryam Method:

She bases her lesson plans on the developmental stages of her students, according to Piaget's Theory of Cognitive Development. She assists students in naturally developing their understanding through hands-on activities and discovery-based learning.

My Method:

I am more in line with Skinner's behaviorist theory, which promotes motivation and involvement through positive reinforcement. Structured routines and rewards, in my opinion, contribute to the development of a positive and productive learning environment.

Ms. Maryam promotes exploration, whereas I concentrate on structure and reinforcement, even though we both encourage involvement. I am able to balance the two methods for a more comprehensive teaching style by taking inspiration from her approach.
