     What troubles you?
     What troubles me is their lack of education and hopelessness. Every time they try to rise up and defend their heritage, they get shot down, sometimes quite literally. That the government is not questioning its continuous breaking of the Fort Laramie oath is something that was unknown to me and thus bothers me. I had no idea of their poorer than poor living conditions and their less-than-dilapidated houses. I am glad Aaron Huey is friends with them and is trying to be the agent of change by telling others the truths that lie within the reservations. One other thing that troubles me is America's lack of cooperation in seeing history through their (the Native American's) eyes and in understanding it from their perspective.

     I thought Indians were living like the rest of us, only within their own communities. How many other Americans think that? Aaron Huey did just tell us about one reservation; the other reservations may be more modern or may be the same. However, even if it is just that one reservation that lives in those horrible conditions, no human should have to do that. And, thanks to Aaron Huey, maybe something can change...for the better.
