Many farmers like to use fertilizer to grow their crops, however when it rains the run off caries the fertilizer into ponds affecting the algae to grow and block out other needed plants. Algae isn't the only thing affected by fertilizer, sea creatures also swallow the fertilizer, and it hurts their immune system.

This is a bad thing because its melting the ice caps, which rises the oceans level by six tenths an inch about every decade and this has been going on for about 220 years. Yes, its barley anything and its going to be a while before the earth FLOODS because of this but that isn't the only thing the melting ice caps do.The sea level temperature is rising by 0.13 F every decade and it is starting to increase this decade, I gathered proof from the image below.

When used by farmers DDT is toxic to animals like birds (such as eagles) damaging their eggshells and causing gender disorders. its not only birds, fish eggs are also thinning. When DDT gets in the water it is insoluble (unable to denigrate)meaning there is nothing you can do about it. but thankfully it was banned from the US in 1972,yet it wasn't banned everywhere.
