"I didn't do that" "never in a billion years" (Bradbury 17)

This takes place the morning after Mildred attempted suicide, and she says this right after Montag asks why she took all the pills in her bottle. By responding like that, we see that Mildred doesn't value her life due to her apathetic response. When told she committed suicide, she seemed uninterested and unconcerned with something so serious that would end her life and change Montags. If Mildred valued herself and valued her life she would have taken the situation so much more seriously, but her apathetic response to Guy shows she doesn't value herself.

"'And I should think you'd consider me sometimes. If we had a fourth wall, why, it'd be just like the room wasn't ours at all, but all kinds of exotic people's rooms. We could do without a few things.' 'We're already doing without a few things to pay for the third wall. It was put in only two months ago, remember?'" (Bradbury 18)

This quote shows how Mildred cares more about material things in her world than her husband. She also sees her husband as a gateway to getting new technology, instead of someone to care about. She basically can't help herself with the new wave of technology becoming available, so she'll say anything to Montag to get what she wants.

"The small crystal bottle of sleeping tablets which earlier today had been filled with thirty capsules and which now lay uncapped and empty in the light of tiny flare"(Bradbury 11).

Mildred doesn't value relationships. In this quote, Mildred has attempted to kill herself. Killing yourself means you don't belong in anyone's life. She thinks people won't miss her if she is gone and if she kills herself everything will be fine. Little does she know, she may break connections between friends, family, or even co-workers. She doesn't care about what others think of her going and it shows she is selfish. She thinks she can kill herself and it is all about what she wants, but not what others want.
