So far during this course, I have been able to easily navigate the Moodle classroom. Also, most of the outside links such as Hawks has worked very well, I was also able to learn the math over again at my own pace, which is why I chose to take this class to refresh my memory. I would say that communication between me and Instructor Brockington has been good. The tutoring website also was a plus, I am glad this resource was given to me, and I plan to use it in the future for other classes. This week however I was and probably still am having issue with how to post my response to Padlet. I assumed I typed my response in work and may copy and paste it in Padlet not sure. I have reached out to Instructor Brockington to get information as to the response posting in Padlet.

During this course, I have found it easy to follow along with how Moodle is laid out and how to use Hawkes learning. I love the aspect of the learning and practicing part of Hawkes learning, and how it helps me really grasp the math concepts I am struggling to learn. I love the tutoring website, though I have not needed to use it just yet, I may need to in the future. I do wish that I could review the collaborate after it is finished, as I have missed the past couple of sessions due to some important appointments I could not miss. If there was a way to post the collaborate lecture afterwards that would be amazing! I always do better with learning math if someone is explaining it to me and showing me how they do it at the same time. I also had some trouble with the last test (not because of proctorU), but when the test was activated, I was told I had 120 minutes, and the timer said 45. I was not sure if I would get kicked out of the test once the timer finished, or it would give me the remaining minutes after the timer finished; I did not want to find out if I was wrong. So, I had to rush through some of the problems in order to do all of the questions before the time ran out. It was a little stressful, but I did it. I hope it does not glitch like that next time, but I am optimistic!

So far I am absolutely enjoying this class. That's strange for me to say I enjoy a math class, ha-ha. I haven't done math like this since 2009 (showing my age a little) and it's bringing back a lot of memories from high school. Some of this materiel I remember and then there's some that I need a refresher on or never even done before. Putting the problems together and being able to solve them on my own, without any help (other than a calculator, mostly for double checking) brings great joy and achievement to myself. I really have no complaints about anything in this class thus far. Math was always one of my toughest subjects in school. But, the lessons and examples given in Hawkes are so handy and very helpful. Given a little video to go along with the problem solving is something I can really rely on. I can not wait to get further along in this class to see what new challenges await for me. I'm ready to keep surprising myself at it.

So far during this course, it has been quite the challenge for me. I know it is only week five and there is still a lot more to learn. This is my first online class, but I feel like I am adapting to it pretty well. Hawkes learning in my opinion is a great resource, because of the options it gives you such as learning and practice before becoming certified in a subject. Ms Brockington does an awesome job running the class and efficiently answering any questions I have. I plan on taking advantage of the tutoring services offered at RCC to ensure I fully understand the concepts of the class each week. I look forward to seeing what the rest of this semester holds, and to further expand my knowledge on a variety of math topics.

So far this course has been incredibly easy and is a better alternative to taking it in person. I am able to complete and understand work at my own pace throughout the week with minimum stress on turning it in. Last semester I didn't do so well with math due to being tightly scheduled between class and work. The only complications I have had so far is my test taking skills. I am not the best at taking math test and usually tend to not do well on them. I am more of an open notes test taker so that I always have a point of reference to look back too. Other than that fact, the work itself has been relatively easy. Hawkes learning is an effective means of learning complicated math due to its multiple study and review options before completing an assignment. I hope to improve my test taking skills and complete this course with a passing grade. I look forward to seeing what other collaborative assignments we are given.

So far in this course, I am enjoying doing math and I really enjoy how testing is conducted. I enjoy how simple the instruction videos are and how they give examples on different types of problems. I also enjoy the additional resources. With all of these resources available, it ensure I know how to do all problems correctly I also enjoy how it teacher me how to do different things with my calculator that I did not know I could do. What I do not enjoy is that sometimes the program used for submitting work can be confusing, it can be confusing to know what format to type my answer in and then I get the question wrong. I also do not enjoy replying to other people on discussion boards, it does not feel useful and most of the time people do not even make a post until last minute so there is nothing for me to reply to or I have to check the board continuously throughout my weekend. Overall, I enjoy this course and how simple it is and it does a good job teaching and refreshing me on pre-calculus math skills.

My experience in this course so far has been good. I like the videos chosen throughout this course. They explain a good bit of the work in a short amount of time. If you did not understand the videos, there would be some extra help videos usually attached that are a little bit longer, and they just go more in-depth about the problems. The workload for this class was a little hard to deal with at first, but it did help with time management, and we would do like 40 to 50 problems a week, which isn't too bad because you have a week to do it. There are also videos on review near test-taking days that help out a lot. The discussion boards in this class are easy, and they also help make sure you know how to use your calculator, and if you need help in class with anything

During this course so far is challenging in a lot of ways and making me like math somewhat more when I used to hate it! This math class has showed me different methods to work around problems and try to get the best answer possible! I can say that I took this class last semester and it was way harder than it is now some of the answers are still a challenge, but I can manage most of them pretty good for the most part. Mrs. Brockington is an absolute great teacher would like to be more on campus but with work and daughter's sports, online is pretty convenient at the moment. I feel like everyone should go back to school and try to get the minds back on track and try to go for a trade or a skill jobs. Hopefully when I get to graduate I will become the guy with the trade and be very successful and what I'm doing.

This class has been really easy so far. The lessons are clear, and the assignments are easy to understand. I like that the teacher explains things in a way that makes sense and gives examples that help with homework and practice problems. When I get stuck on something, I can just watch the Collaborate review sessions. These reviews are very helpful because they go over the problems step by step and explain the parts that are confusing. It makes it easier to understand the material and catch up if I miss something. I also like that I can go back and watch the reviews as many times as I need. Overall, this class feels manageable, and I feel like I can do well as long as I keep up with the lessons and use the reviews when I need help. I think the combination of clear lessons and the helpful reviews makes learning in this class simple and stress-free.

The video lessons do a great job of teaching the material and preparing us for the practice questions. This class is on material that I have not done in a few years but I have felt like I have been properly prepared and taught the material. I have enjoyed this class even though I was nervous due to it being an online class.

Taking the MAT-035-BW1 algebra class has been a very rewarding experience for me. At the beginning of the course, I felt unsure about my math skills, but the way the instructor explained each concept step by step made everything much more understandable. I learned so many new things in this class, from solving linear and quadratic equations to factoring and working with functions. What I enjoyed most was seeing how the concepts connect and how algebra can be applied to real-life problems. The class also helped me develop better study habits and problem-solving strategies, which made me feel more confident every time I completed a challenging assignment. I especially liked the supportive learning environment, where questions were encouraged, and mistakes were seen as part of the learning process. Overall, this class has not only strengthened my math skills but also made me excited to continue learning more in future courses.

It has helped me better understand that lessons for that week. What I do not enjoy is the many video lessons/practice work. It can get to be too much for me at times and gets overwhelming at a certain point that I wait close to last minute to do the rest of the work. It takes quite a bit of my time having to sit down and watch videos,write/rewrite my work and upload my work a certain way especially with having equations to solve for video lessons and practice lessons. Overall the class is decent. I'm learning and I like the examples by video and by textbook but the work can get a bit overwhelming.

This course so far has been difficult for me. I have not been to school in a long time so this definitely feels new to me. I love the flexibility of an online class, because I can do the work on my free time. I will say learning all the formulas and doing all the work is a little overwhelming at times, but I try my best to get the work done. The lesson videos help me understand alot, but I sometimes have more questions when they are explaining the math problems. I feel that the collaborate review sessions are more helpful than the videos, because the teacher explains it way better than the other videos. Especially on the parts that are confusing she does it step by step,I personally like that more. My only wish is that the collaborate sessions wouldn't expire they really do help alot. Overall this course and the setup up is pretty straight forward, I just need to have a better time management schedule. For this to be an online class I like the setup. Personally, I think I am more old school and prefer an in person class that way I can ask my questions before I forget.
