Paulette Wilson came to Telford in 1968 when she was 10, now aged 61, threatens deportation after she found out her benefits had be stopped. She was detained in the Yarl's Wood immigration removal centre, where she was held for a week before being released. However, she has now been told she can remain in the UK by the home office. Government guidelines state that anyone who settled in the UK before 1 January 1973 has the right to remain. Emma Reynolds, MP for Wolverhampton North East, has already asked the immigration minister to apologise. But Ms Wilson said "being a black person, I'm not confident at all" she would receive an apology.

A quote from the article states that "unfortunately the Polish people in the UK have been victims of discrimination and hate crime especially since the Brexit referendum". The article says that a fringe group are appealing to Polish immigrants through a Facebook page that has 1.9million likes. Jayda Fransen told BBC that any immigrants who are born in the UK can stay, however if they are Muslims or criminals they can not. This shows clear discrimination against Muslims.
