Over 100 million adults are suffering from diabetes. In total, almost 10 percent of the people living in the United States of America is suffering from this disease. Besides, almost half of the population is suffering from overweight. This is mostly caused by the high amount of fast food. There are hundreds of fast food chains, all being successful because of the habits of the Americans. The fast food habits turn out to be very live threatening in many occasions. Fast food is a subject of discussion in a lot of these cases. The food contains way too much fat and lacks on vitamins. In 2004, the consequences of overly eating fast food was shown by Morgan Spurlock in his documentary ‘Super Size Me’. In this documentary, Morgan is eating nothing else than fast food for a month. Whenever he gets asked for the super size menu, he has to accept this and consume it. Doctors did some research on his body before and afterwards and the results were shocking, leading to a lot of discussion on the topic fast food chains. Since then, a lot of fast food chains decided to add a lot of healthy food within their shop, Subway being the first one to really take this step.

There are three national championships, the Sprint Cup, the Nationwide Series and the Camping World Truck Series. It all started in 1920-1930 when Daytona Beach was full of racers who wanted to break the world record for fastest speed on land. In this period of time, stock car racing was a big hype and the cars that were used to try and break the record were tuned stock cars. In 1936, racer Bill France started to take the lead in the organisation of those races because a lot of races were lacking support and people in charge. In 1947, a lot of racers came together to discuss about the organisations and this is where the NASCAR organisation started. The first real championships took place in 1949. Nowadays, NASCAR is one of the biggest racing organisations of the world and the championships are visited, watched and supported by millions of people. Besides, it is one of the most dangerous sports in the United States of America, the extreme speed causes a lot of crashes, giving racers less than half a second to react to crashes. Several people died in those crashes, but most of the racers, as in many other different extreme sports, enjoy the adrenaline to the fullest.

After this war, the second amendment was introduced. The Right to Bear Arms. The official Amendment reads: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a  free State, the right of the people to bear Arms, shall not be infringed”. This meant every adult has the right to possess weapons for their own defence. This law has caused a lot of contradiction within the United States of America. Numbers of gun violence started to raise. Accidents like the Brady, Snowdrop Campaigns and Million March are recent examples of campaigns of people who beg the authority to tighter restrictions on this right to keep and bear arms. Those campaigns did not make any difference in the law and it stayed the same way, though researchers acknowledge the fact this law should be restricted. A lot of the people performing the campaigns stand for background checks for gun sales, to prevent criminals from getting guns. Besides, people with mental health issues can be stopped from buying guns, which can lead to a decreasing amount of for instance school shootings. A lot of accidents can be prevented but the law still stands the same as it did since the start of it.

This event goes all the way back to July 20th, 1969. The idea came from president John F. Kennedy, who announced that he wanted to take people to the moon for the first time. This announcement was made eight years before the actual landing. The spaceship that was made for this trip was called the Apollo 11. The Apollo 11 had three crew members. Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins were the three astronauts to make this task complete. The Apollo 11 reached the moon in July 20^th, 1969 and the official first person on the moon was given to Neil Armstrong. This trip was very risky, about two and a half minutes before the landing, Armstrong took the wheel to avoid a very risky environment to land in. the vehicle did not have a lot of fuel to reduce the weight and at the time of the landing, there was only enough fuel for twenty more seconds. The first steps was streamed live to earth and approximately 450 million people were watching this.
