I love this photo because not all 3 are focused only really one is and it shows all the details. The back ground looks super pretty with the cupcakes.

The differences between f/8 and f/1.8 was the f/8 was very clear and f/1.8 was more focused on little elements. I personally like how some of the f1.8 turned out over the f/8 so for food photography I feel like it is all up to the photographers preferences. 

With all the notes i felt that I learned that angles and many pictures is key, you have to be willing to move around to get the right one. There isn't a specific technique thats going to work for everyone.
