No. I only learned the term of the 'linguistic form', however i did not need to know this in this detail in order to still speak english well. My english level will had stayed the same without knowing this term.

Depending on the level of education there may be some interest in grammar from teenagers, however especially in vocational education or lower-level high school education this will be extremely rare

while grammar can be interesting, it probably is not to the average 12-18 year old. you specifically need to make the lesson interesting to make grammar even slightly appealing to learners.

I have never wanted to focus on grammar, it was boring to me and it seemed unimportant as I was able to express myself well enough. That would be the same for a teenager who does not want to do anything language related I assume.

I did like to focus on grammar back in high school, because I was already proficient in English, so the grammar only gave me clarity on the forms I was already using when using the language.

There could be a case for the need for learners to focus on grammar if they decide to move to a hbo study in said language or related to language, as here their grasp on the correct use of grammar will be of importance. However outside of these highly specific situations, the focus on grammar may not be as necessary as schools currently portray it to be

Learning basic grammar helped me a lot and I felt limited without it, but as my knowledge became more advanced the grammar lessons became less useful to me.

Students who keep making the same mistakes and students who make mistakes up to the point that it prevents communications. And more advanced learners who want to focus more on a career that they need to have good grammar for. Teachers and society say that.
