  • Never look back, rereading your writing can make you dislike it and give up.
  • Don’t exhaust all the good parts of the story always leave off somewhere good so you’re excited to write
  • Don’t write when you’re not feeling it, writing while excited produces better work.
    • make what you want to see and not what the audience wants, “ideas find you”; many screenwriters worry too much about finding things to right, ‘always leave at the part that you like so that you’re excited to come back to it.Don’t exhause the good parts.
