In 'The Beast That Makes Us' I use the Victory Kraken V4 Preamp pedal into the FX loop of the AC30 which replaces the AC30 preamp with the Kraken, turning it into a high gain amp. All guitars panned to the left hand side uses this amp setup. For my Right panned guitars and lead parts I use the PRS MT15 which is another high gain amp but with a different tonality to add variation.

All amps are recorded by plugging the speaker cable into a Two Notes Captor X which acts in 3 ways. 1 - it is a load box that holds the power that would normally be used to power the guitar cabinet, 2 - it allows me to record my guitar amp through my interface without the need to mic up a speaker cabinet and 3 - it has built in Impulse Responses to emulate a mic'd up cabinet, this also allows me to put the speaker cabinet before the interface preamp instead of using a plugin in the DAW which makes the signal chain a lot more accurate.]]> 2021-12-07 23:37:27 UTC https://padlet.com/elijahperry1993/46ft1tgj374grklq/wish/1934709973 elijahperry1993 https://padlet.com/elijahperry1993/46ft1tgj374grklq/wish/1938558273 Verse 1:
