I live with both of my parents and my older brother. My parents own and operate their own business. Originally the business was something my father ran out of our house but it has recently been expanding into neighboring states. As a family, we're not very religious and have rarely attended church. Accountability and a hard work ethic are valued across both sides of my family.

Most of my generation is still in high school; however, the older portion is just now being able to run for political positions. This means that my generation is slowly immersing itself further into politics. Given our age range, most of Gen Z is on the liberal side of the spectrum. We were influenced by the global pandemic in 2020 which may add extra emphasis on expert advice in the political sphere.

My education primarily consists of what High School has taught me and what the district considered mandatory. However, I've had a long interest in politics and government. Not much of my political information and understanding comes from my parents because I think they are ill-informed.

I'm very privileged in the fact that I don't have to work and I'm fully supported by my parents. I still live with both of my parents and have little to no religious background. Coming from opposite sides of the US, my parents bring unique perspectives that they acquired from their side of the family. Coming from an upper middle-class family has definitely influenced much of my political ideology and socialization.
