I have heard of this saying a few times,"In war, there are no unwounded soldiers." (José Narosky) . I think that this is a wonderful quote because it doesn't matter if you're on the battlefield or waiting to enter the field. Everyone will get hurt physically or emotionally. The reason why I'm using this quote is because over the years of learning about the brutal wars I realized the pain of someone losing a loved one or friend in the wars. I think this quote explains that really well. People at homes get hurt when they lose a loved one and people on the battlefield get physically injured. I just wanted to say a THANK YOU for your wonderful service and I really appreciate everything you have done for this and other countries! You are amazing and keep being amazingly wonderful!
A BIG SALUTE FOR YOU SIR!

Nitika B.

I had multiple family members in the army and air force too. I remember one of my older family members saying that today is an important day because it honours soldiers that risked their life to fight. I think that that is a reason why this day is important especially because its only once a year!

The appreciation we have for you could not simply be put into words. The fight and will you have put deserves admiration and pride on its own. "The willingness of America's veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude." - Jeff Miller

This quote shows how absolutely beautiful your work is and how much we owe you for having the courage to be fighting for your country. The words "thank you" seem to little a gesture but for now, it has a greater meaning. It means that we admire you, we applaud you, we respect you, and we look up to you. You are our hero, thank you.
