Personally, I don't find it scary (in the day), however I can see why some people do. It provides good access generally, but it's easy to get a bit disoriented. It's also obvious that it's being used by homeless people too. I think the tunnel can b e made a bit more inviting and also have some signs inside. (similar to the other pedestrian tunnel by Audimax)
