The main tourist places in Rioahacha is the beach boardwalk where tourists always come to the beaches to enjoy and get to know the sea, also the Cathedral of Our Lady of Remedies where sometimes people decide to receive the word of God, generally the people visit the jose prudencio padilla plaza where they meet and talk with other people, in the Suchiimma shopping center people go to buy according to their tastes and needs.

What is the typical food of your city?
The typical food in my city is always friche, there is fried fish and shellfish, usually rice with shrimp, sometimes salpicón de chucho.

What are the main ingredients of typical food?
The friche is prepared with goat meat in small pieces, salt, oil and put on the fire.

What are the main celebrations in your city/town?
The main celebrations in my city are always the patronal festival of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, generally the carnival, sometimes the festival of Francisco el Hombre.

What do people do in those celebrations?
people normally buy cornstarch to make themselves, dance, sing, always drink beer.
