The murderer will be her ex-husband, who she was together with for 16 years before leaving him for another man. 
She and her ex-husband met in high school and started dating at 15 years old, and she becomes pregnant with their son at 16 years old. They get married at 21 and they stay together for 16 years, but towards the end of that time, the marriage begins to fall apart. Coincidentally, the woman (now 31 y/o) meets another man who sweeps her off her feet, and she decides to get a divorce and move in with her new lover, taking her 15-year-old son with her. Her ex-husband is devastated and heartbroken and seeks revenge through stalking and sending her death threats. The situation escalates when her ex-husband discovers where they live and begins loitering around the house. 
After countless death threats and frightful incidences (such as the ex-husband taking pictures of her on the street, putting up posters of her around the city, throwing rocks, mailing her dead animals etc.) he breaks into the house one night when her new partner is away on a business trip and kills both his ex-wife and their son. ]]> 2017-11-07 12:01:43 UTC https://padlet.com/naufalpowery013697/46bz463z21zz/wish/204295850 What will the style of the documentary be? naufalpowery013697 https://padlet.com/naufalpowery013697/46bz463z21zz/wish/204301835 The documentary will comprise both talking heads footage and direct cinema. The talking heads footage will include at least 2/3 of the following people talking about the crime:
- The mother's sister
- Hertfordshire police
- A coroner
- An attorney
- A detective
- The woman's neighbour
- The woman's new partner
I think that it is important to include a range of different perspectives in the talking heads footage, so I have chosen possible interviewees from a range of personal and professional relationships to the murder.

The direct cinema footage will be the reconstruction of the murder. For this I require 4 actors:
- The mother
- The teenage son
- The ex-husband
- The new partner
I will be reconstructing footage from the start to the end of the story, so I may require extras to play as characters that are not integral parts of the story in order to make it more realistic.
