This book is the starting and introduction to the new series of Rick Riordan, Magnus Chase. This teaches us about Norse Mythology, unlike his other books which had Greek, Roman, and Egyptian Mythology wrapped in the plot line. The different books he makes helps us understand our history better. Magnus Chase: The Sword of Summer is a very fun-filled book about a demigod that's the son of the nature god, Frey. He find's his Father's sword, Sumerbrander, which he renames Jack. With the sword, he can cut the enchanted rope that keeps evil at its limit.

This is (obviously) the first book of Harry Potter that I had ever read, thanks to my sister Krista, for randomly picking a book from a shelf. Being the first book in the series, it introduces many characters and items into your mind. The wizarding world is quite the hand full and is very interesting. This is the story of how Harry Potter meets the man who killed his birth parents, and how he saves the wizarding world.

This book combines Greek and Roman Mythology, and it combines the two books before, 'The Lost Hero' and 'The Son of Neptune'.

Geekerella By Ashley Poston was under the genre of Teen Fiction, a genre that I haven't read in awhile, so this book was put into my head easier. It was your basic Cinderella story, but with an obvious modern twist on it. The book sounded so much like an original book, which I guess it kind of is, that you might forget that it was following the Cinderella story line/plot. This book was about a girl, Danielle (Elle), who lives with her stepmother and two stepsisters. Elle’s late father was the founder of ExcelsiCon, a place that she shares with a stranger that she has fallen in love with. The prince of this story, also known as the stranger over the phone, is an actor named Darien, who is playing Prince Carmindor, one Elle's favorite character in their shared fandom, Starfield. As I probably mentioned earlier, they met on accident, by texting the wrong number, and the rest is history. I thought that this book was very clever, from how they made so many of the characters’ persona’s, to the finest details of Elle’s dress.

I thought the book, Fallen Angel, was super cool. I liked how in the beginning of the book it started out with her 'dreaming' that she was flying over her town. I also enjoyed the thrill it added when they said that she was the daughter of two fallen angels and that she wasn't a vampire like she thought. In this story, she meets a guy who was also a child of two fallen angels, but he already thought that he was a vampire, and therefore persuaded the main character that she was a vampire

The Trials of Apollo: The Dark Prophecy By Rick Riordan

This was a book worth waiting for. Apollo was the god of many things but should we add humorous ignorance? In the first Trials of Apollo book, there were one or two crossovers, but in this book.... There were so much more!!!! I enjoyed Apollo trying to understand mortals a bit more, and I also loved the diversity Rick Riordan added in.This book obviously put me one edge over and over and over again, but in the end, when everything seemed to have ended smoothly, Rick Riordan just had to include one last paragraph......filled with a HUGE cliffhanger. Overall, this was very interesting and exciting to read, and I can't wait until the next book comes out!

This book was very interesting to read because it's basically a guy listening to a tape, so the format was very interesting. This story is about a girl who explains her story, and why she killed herself, through an old fashioned tape. She sent it to thirteen people who had accidentally encouraged her death. Throughout the story, you could really picture or feel her struggle because there were many well-written details. Overall, this story got my to read it all night, without putting it down, until 5 in the morning, so I'd say that this was a very
good book and I really enjoyed reading it...in a way.

Earth Girl By Janet Edwards

Earth Girl is a book takes place in the year 2788, and it's about a girl who is part of a group people who are handicapped or born with immune systems that cannot survive on other planets (so basically, she isn't handicapped at all). In this time, only the handicapped live on Earth, and the main character, Jarra, was sent to Earth at birth to save her life, meaning that her parents had abandoned her.
The main part of the story is when she creates a fake military background to join a class of norms who are visiting Earth to study the ruins of the old cities. She wanted to see their faces when they see that they have been tricked by an 'ape'. An ape is what the other humans identify the 'handicapped people' as. What Jarra didn't expect was for her to find friendship, a sense of nobility, or love between herself and her 'enemies'. I really enjoyed this book, and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone of my friends.

The book Shatter Me was a very thrilling book. I constantly keep you on the edge of your seat. Shatter Me is a very interesting story, aside from being part of a dystopian genre. Shatter Me was about a girl who has been put in isolation for around 200 days. Why? She touched a child and killed it...by accident. This girl, Juliette, has a unique ability, one that she calls a curse, one that a bloodthirsty commander calls special and useful. This ability causes anyone she touches to be in intense pain, enough to kill people. To make it worse, only she can let go, as in if someone touches her, they won't be able to pull back if she doesn't pull them or pushes them off. As the story goes on, she discovers that Adam, someone from her childhood, can touch her without getting hurt or killed, and so the story goes on.

Magnus Chase and the Asgardians: The Ship of the Dead By Rick Riordan

Magnus Chase and the Asgardians: The Ship of the Dead was a really interesting read, considering that it's the last book in its trilogy. In this book, Magnus Chase and his friends travel to find the ship of the dead also known as the ship of nails (mostly because it's made from human clipped nails). On the way towards the ship of nails, Magnus learns more about his friend's backstories and how they died. Most of the ending books that Rick Riordan makes, marking the end of his series, showcase a huge battle, but at the end of this trilogy, Rick Riordan keeps it slow and reveals the big battle in the ship of the dead at the end of the book. Overall, I think that this was a very interesting book, but I would defiantly recommend the first book in the trilogy for anyone looking for a good book to read, even though it's a bit shorter than a few of Rick Riordan's other books.

This is a book I found on Wattpad a year and a few months ago. This story, I'll Protect You is a Teen Fiction, Humor, and Romance book/genre. It's very interesting and funny. At first, the Wattpad description of this book might sound cliche, but this really is an amazing story.
"Whoever wished they could live the life of royalty deserved a punch in the face.
Meet Park Sparrow, a feisty, sarcastic, and reckless outcast who's just a small-town girl, living in a lonely world. With an attitude and personality that gets her in more trouble than anything, she's a wild splash of color in the otherwise monotone and regal life of the academy she attends.
But there's more than meets the eye. Park isn't a random nobody in a town only famous for a school. Park Sparrow is the princess of Cimeria, and heir to one of the last remaining monarchies in the entire world. Unluckily for her, being an heir also means having a target painted on her back day and night.
Park is determined to find out who's behind the attempts on her life. With the unlikely help of Logan Cross, a boy she's hated since the dawn of time, the two must learn how to put aside their differences and get along because Park is in grave danger.
As they work together to put together the mystery of who wants Park's throne, they must face new complications and obstacles that will be much more difficult than just a school yard grudge."
If anyone decides to read from Wattpad, I'd definitely recommend this book for them to read, especially if they are in for a good laugh.

The Invisible Best Friends is an amazing 'cliche' story that takes place in high school. It's a story about two people who seem so different from each other, but they are pretty alike once you get to know them under the facade they put up. Aaron is one of the main characters in the story, he is the one of the "popular's"
