Because the book that harry has belongs to the half-blood prince, But we will find out at the end of the film. while we find this out, harry collaborates with Dumbledore in the search for a series of magical objects that they will help in the destruction of Lord Voldemort but While searching for these artifacts, Dumbledore has an accident and they come back to Hogwarts for help and harry ran fast, but he couldn't help Dumbledore and he can't help him because professor snape stops him and tells him to be quiet, and then professor snap go up to where Dumbledore is, stop Malfoy, and then kill Dumbledore in this part of the movie we believe that the professor Snape is a traitor but Harry runs up and confronts him telling him that Professor Dumbledore trusted him and that is when Professor Snape reveals to him that he is the Half-Blood Prince and he isn’t a traitor he is not a traitor he just fulfilled Dumbledore’s last wish and this is where the movie gets confusing. Because we don't know why he did it but at the end of the movie it is revealed that it was all a plan by Dumbledore and Snape so that Voldemort would trust Snape and so buy time We also found out that Snape had protected and cared for harry potter all his life since he was the son of the love of his life (lily potter).
What they did was incredible; in fact, I can hardly believe it, is an emotional movie.
