The basic order of an English sentence is subject + verb + object and complements. Examples: I saw a movie yesterday, Peter always goes to the church on Sundays, my sister is very bossy.

Within the object and complements of a verb, we can have several kinds of words. The most common are nouns (or nouns) and adjectives, which add qualities to those nouns. In Spanish the adjective usually goes after the noun, while in English it is the other way around: first the adjectives and then the noun. Example: I bought a wooden chair.

The problem we sometimes find is that we have to add several adjectives to the same noun, since we want to tell several things about it, and we may have the doubt about in what order they go. Well, in this case we have a very clear and easy rule that you will only have to learn.

Adjectives in English are grammatical elements that serve to give characteristics to people, animals or things. Its function is to offer extra information about the noun of a sentence. For example, in the new guitar is lost, the adjective is new, so we are not talking about any guitar, but the new one.

Adjectives are used so much in the English language that it is impossible to count how many there are in total. But what you can know is how many types there are: six and they are grouped according to the way they affect the noun.
